Student teachers use  ICT to access outside experts and learning communities to support their activities and their own professional learning. (KD.6.b)

Lecture on PLN. Practical looks at tools and contacts. Self study focuses on MOOCs

Duration: Total of 5 notional hours –1 hour lecture, 3 hour computer practical session and 1 hour self-study (preferably at a computer).

Notes to Lecturer: Introduce participants to the concept of Personal Learning Networks and the various sources and experts that are available to them online to help them further their professional learning.
